UniKin is the name coined for a trailblazing startup entering the optical sector with a revolutionary retail format based on eyewear customization and computer-aided manufacturing.

A lab-store going beyond the traditional optician services and products by using 3D scanning, parametric design automation and 3D Printing to design bespoke eyewear and restore vintage glasses for collectors, thanks to custom-made spares which replace worn parts.

Not just a store but a venue where you can see innovation in action, we conceived UniKin Stores as human technology hubs promoting the uniqueness of every single individual of its vast kin, regardless they are client, a designer or a maker.

A player capable to discover indie designers and cutting-edge brands, to reveal and spread new technologies, to attract makers and designers’ urban-tribes with events and collaborations.

For such an exuberant start up, we designed a dynamic brand image always in evolution, always new and unique. Not a single logo but a ‘kinship’ of logos, potentially infinite. Not a static interior design, but an evolving space furnished with self-produced 3d print outfitting and furniture.
